My boyfriend and I stayed at Aremko for five incredible nights, and we loved every moment. Jorge and Angelica hand built Aremko and it is a total masterpiece. In addition to their three charming cabanas, they built a staircase that winds thru the forest to a series of decks where they have hot tubs facing the beautiful mountain stream, Rio Pescado. They also have an indoor tea room, sauna and massage rooms. Every room is beautifully furnished and perfectly maintained. We spent one whole day of our trip on Aremko’s grounds, enjoying the amenities. Jorge also gave us a lot of ideas for day trips, and his advice was spot on. He offered to give us a lift to the main road where we could take the bus to explore the surrounding area, but we opted to rent a car, which was only about $30/day, so worth it! We took day trips to Volcano Osorno, the Cascadas in Puerto Octay, Frutillar, and the boat from Petrohue to Peulla thru Lago de todo los Santos — all amazing!! Thank you airbnb for helping us discover Aremko – it is such a gem! And we will for sure go back again – hopefully soon!
